Eilish was remembered as a much‑loved mother and grandmother whose warmth, love, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and strength to those closest to her, leaving behind treasured memories that will endure.
Funeral Arrangements
- Reposing: At her home, 73 Velsheda Park, Belfast.
- Thursday, July 23 reserved for family only.
- Friends welcome to call from July 24 onward to pay respects.
- Celebration of Life: July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church.
- Burial: Belfast City Cemetery.
- Reception: Refreshments at the Lower Falls Social Club on Cyprus Street from 1:00 p.m.
Gratitude and Legacy
The family expressed heartfelt gratitude to the nursing staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion during Eilish’s final three weeks.
Eilish is now at peace in the loving arms of her beloved son, Pearse, who preceded her in death. She will be remembered with love by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
