Mya was a sweet, fun-loving girl whose competitive spirit and energy shined in everything she did. She loved softball and basketball, where her determination and passion for the game stood out. Her summers were filled with swimming, beach days, and crabbing, creating cherished memories with family and friends.

Creativity and Companionship

Her creativity came alive through crafting and drawing, where she expressed herself and shared her artistic side with those around her. Mya also shared a special bond with her dogs, Tequila and Captain, who brought comfort and companionship, reflecting her nurturing and gentle spirit.

Family and Relationships

Mya’s beautiful smile, kind heart, and joyful personality made her someone truly special. She shared an unbreakable sibling bond with her brother Siggy, who was not only her sibling but her best friend. Their laughter, adventures, and countless memories will forever symbolize the love they carried together.

Survived By

Mya is survived by her parents, Jennifer and Sigmund Golabek; grandparents Laurie and Steven Schneider, Roseann Chiarella, Sigmund Golabek, and Dawn Poppe; her aunts and uncles Ashley and Zachary Davidson, Sara and Ralph Guzzi, and Taylor Bottomly; cousins Gianna, Nico, Macie, Luciana, and Tori; and many great aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Margaret and Paul Cisecki, Sarah Chiarella, and Mary and Sigmund Golabek.

Legacy

Although Mya’s time on Earth was far too short, the love she shared and the memories she created will never be forgotten. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, teammates, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
